Hospitals See Wound Care As Growing Specialty

Manatee Memorial Hospital Wound Treatment Center Receives Award

July 23, 2011

Manatee Memorial Hospital's Wound Care and Hyperbaric Treatment Center in Bradenton, FL received DCS' Center of Distinction Award for achievements in patient outcomes and patient satisfaction in 2010. The Manatee Memorial center was able to heal chronic wounds of patients in 97 percent of cases and also exceeded standards for patient satisfaction and the median number of days in which wounds healed.
